Kirton Recreation Ground

Just east of Woodbridge, Kirton Recreation Ground is a proper slice of Suffolk countryside - open grassland and woodland that's genuinely worth a morning's exploration if you're camping nearby. Families with kids will find enough space to let them run about without losing sight of them entirely. Birdwatchers come during migration seasons and swear by it. History types won't find much beyond old field boundaries, so don't expect ruins or earthworks.
