The ruins of Kilmore Church sit quietly on the Argyll peninsula, a few miles south of Oban, and they're the sort of place that rewards a slow wander rather than a quick photo stop. If you're staying at Tanunda Pods or Maggie's Cabin, both just a couple of miles away, this fits neatly into an afternoon. Worth the detour if you're in the area, but not worth driving from Oban specifically on its account.
