Holyhead English Presbyterian Church

It's not a showpiece like some of the grander chapels elsewhere in Wales; this feels genuinely lived-in, a place where locals still gather rather than a museum piece. You won't need more than twenty minutes here, though if you're interested in Methodist or Presbyterian history in Wales, it's worth double that. The town itself is functional rather than pretty, but staying at one of the nearby parks changes things completely. Anglesey Outdoors and Two Peas in a Pod (both within walking distance) make far better bases than Holyhead's centre. Combine this visit with a proper walk along Anglesey's coastal paths, and you've got a solid morning.
