Kings Forest Caravan & Camping Park and West Stow Pods are both within easy striking distance too, making this a useful addition to a longer Suffolk break rather than a destination in itself. Go early in the day or after rain when the ground is still soft underfoot - muddy paths are part of the appeal here. Bring proper boots.
