Harbour Park Amusements

You'll find the rides and games right on Littlehampton's seafront, which tells you everything about what this place is really for. Harbour Park is a traditional seaside amusement arcade and fairground rolled into one, the sort of spot where families burn an afternoon between ice cream runs and pier walks. There's a decent range of rides - nothing that'll compete with Blackpool, but enough to keep under-tens entertained for a couple of hours. The bumper cars, children's coasters, and various mechanical rides have that proper seaside feeling, all a bit worn around the edges in the best possible way.

Admission is free - you pay as you go for individual rides and games. It's the kind of place that works brilliantly if you're based at one of the nearby caravan parks like South Downs, just three and a half miles inland. You can easily pop down for an hour or two without needing a full day's outing. The seafront location is the real draw here - grab fish and chips, let the kids loose on the rides, and you've got a proper seaside afternoon sorted. It's not thrilling enough for teenagers with sophisticated tastes, and you won't want to spend all day here, but for families with younger children staying locally, it does exactly what it promises. The weather matters though - a rainy day and the appeal evaporates quickly. Go when the sun's out and the beach is calling.
