Gorran Haven St Just Church

The church sits quietly above Gorran Haven village, a working 15th-century parish church that most visitors walk straight past without thinking. Step inside and you'll find whitewashed walls, a proper Victorian interior, and the sort of peaceful atmosphere you only get in small Cornish churches where they've left things largely alone.

It's genuinely worth ten minutes if you're already down at the beach or the harbour. The craftsmanship on the carved wooden roof is decent - no grand cathedral showboating, just solid medieval work that's held up for centuries. The stained glass is modest but honest.
