Foel Y Mwnt

Standing 538 feet above the dramatic Pembrokeshire coastline, this grassy summit offers some of the finest clifftop views you'll find along the Wales Coast Path. The walk up from Mwnt Beach takes about 20 minutes - not particularly challenging but steep enough to get the blood pumping. Once at the top, you're rewarded with sweeping vistas across Cardigan Bay and down to the perfect horseshoe of sand below.

Walkers and photographers will love this spot, especially on clear days when you can see right across to Bardsey Island. Families might find the climb a bit much for little ones, though teenagers will manage it fine. The path can get muddy after rain, so proper walking boots are essential.

Timing matters here. Early morning or late afternoon light transforms the views completely, and you'll often have the place to yourself outside summer weekends. The wind can be fierce up top - worth remembering if you're planning to linger.
