Errickstane Hill

The walk up Errickstane Hill from Moffat takes about two hours there and back, and it's one of those Scottish Lowlands climbs that punches above its weight. You're not scaling Ben Nevis here - the hill itself sits at a modest height - but the views across Dumfries and Galloway are genuinely stunning, especially on a clear day when you can see for miles across rolling moorland and forestry.
