Lovely site. Stayed here several times over the years. Road is a little bit bumpy on the lead up to the site. Good facilities with a recent upgrade on recycling.
Beautiful quiet spot. You plan on playing I forgot how beautiful the sky π is in the night.
Howslack farm is a delightful certificated site with just 6 pitches. The facilities are basic but the atmosphere is lovely. We have stayed there dozens of times for overnight stops and we love it. If you cherish the lovely southern upland hills and the lovely town of moffat you will be delighted with howslack farm - just don't expect top notch facilities because that is not what it's about. Stayed there this week for one night, lovely clean great location site, the owner Elizabeth was a charming friendly hostess who I really liked and admired for her continuous hard work. Thank you for a lovely stay. We will be back.
Great site with wonderful views. Good basic shower/toilet. A few miles down a quiet lane from Moffat with it's array of take aways and restaurants.
