Craig y Barcut

The walk up Craig y Barcut rewards you with proper views across Cardigan Bay. It's not a massive peak - you're looking at a decent hike rather than a full day out - but the vistas from the top sweep right across to the Snowdonia massif on clear days. The ascent starts from the Tywyn area and takes you through moorland and rough grassland, the kind of terrain that keeps your legs honest but doesn't demand technical skill.
