Comrie Parish Church

The white-harled kirk sits right in the heart of Comrie, that modest Perthshire village between Crieff and the Trossachs. Truthfully, it's not a destination in itself - you won't spend more than twenty minutes here - but as part of a day wandering Comrie itself, it slots in nicely. The village has proper charm: the River Earn, some decent walks, and a working blacksmith if you fancy something different. The church grounds are free to access (churches generally are), and you can pop in during daylight hours. Go on a quiet afternoon rather than seeking it out specially. Families with younger children might find it a bit solemn, but walkers using Loch Earn Leisure Park as a base should definitely wander through the village centre and have a look.
