Coetty Bach Hut Circle Settlement

A scatter of low stone walls on a Welsh hillside might not sound like much, but Coetty Bach tells the story of Iron Age people who actually lived here, two thousand years ago. The hut circles - those ghostly rings of stone - are what's left of their homes, and walking among them makes that distance collapse somehow.

The terrain's not difficult, though it's exposed, so check the weather. Talsarnau's nearby if you need supplies or a proper lunch afterwards. The stones themselves speak more than any sign ever could.
