Pair it with a proper look at Cheddar Gorge itself, which looms just outside town, and you've got a decent morning. The chapel works best if you're genuinely interested in Victorian nonconformity or local history. Kids won't find much to engage them here, and it's the sort of place you visit as part of exploring the village rather than as a standalone trip.

Check locally for opening times - it's active, so visiting during services probably isn't the move unless you're there to worship.
