Cheddar Bridge

Just stayed here for 3 nights. Great little place, friendly and helpful staff, big pitches, new toilets and showers. The river Yeo ran behind our motorhome where we saw ducks, a kingfisher, a water voal and fish. Short walk to supermarkets and 20 mins to Cheddar gorge. Several local pubs and cafes serving good food. Dogs welcome and dog walking nearby. Well worth a visit. Will definitely be back.

Lovely little pit stop in our tent here in Cheddar. Free WiFi, lovely little outdoor kitchen area with a kettle, fridge, and microwave. Lots of information on local activities. Really tidy. Lots of rabbits. Toilets and showers were clean and well kept but water wasn’t quite hot enough but that’s just a joy of camping.

Came here to test my new bikepacking setup. Nice and quite campsite. WiFi was a very welcome (and surprising) addition. Would recommend for anyone wanting a quite base to explore the surrounding area.

Lovely quiet site. No electric hookups available when we went so chose our own pitch on the camping field. Hard standing, electric pitches were quite close together so glad of the field. Clean facilities and a very warm welcome. Very close to village centre and enjoyed a walk around the reservoir.

We had a great stay here in our tent. We had every weather but snow in 5 days, but the facilities made everything better. The toilets and showers were clean and stocked. We also found the kettle, fridge freezer and microwave in the camping field very handy. Saved us always needing to get the calor gas out to make a cuppa in the rain. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We will be back!
