Chapel Pit

A shallow depression in the ground near Anderby, between Skegness and the Lincolnshire coast - that's Chapel Pit. It's the sort of thing you might walk past without noticing unless someone points it out, which is precisely what makes it interesting.

Go if you're already in the area. Don't drive out specially from Skegness just for this. It's a proper local curiosity rather than an attraction, and that's rather the point.
