Capel y Trinity

This small Welsh chapel sits quietly in Swansea, a proper survivor from another era. Capel y Trinity is a Congregationalist chapel that's been standing since the 19th century, and stepping inside feels like walking into a time capsule - timber pews, a modest gallery, the sort of place where you can almost hear the hymn singing echoing off the walls.

It's not a grand cathedral or a tourist magnet. This is for people who actually care about nonconformist Welsh religious architecture and local heritage. Swansea's got decent caravan parks dotted about if you're basing yourself here for a few days. Swansea Marina Tourer Park is closest at under two miles, though frankly the town itself has more to offer than one small chapel. Worth combining with a proper wander through Swansea's seafront or the castle if you're in the area, but don't make a special trip from further afield just for this.
