Campbell Street is where they're making proper craft beer now - the kind that tastes like someone actually cares about what's in the glass, not just what sells. You'll find the taproom modest but genuine, the sort of place where the brewers aren't hiding behind some contrived brand story. A visit means you can watch production if you time it right, taste through their rotating selection, and actually talk to people who know their stuff.

This works best for adults who like beer more than flash. Families might find it a bit flat - kids will get bored within ten minutes, to be honest. But if you're staying at one of the nearby caravan parks - The Firs is barely two miles away, or Poplars Farm and Golden Valley are close enough for an evening trip - it's absolutely worth the short drive into town for a couple of hours. The Derbyshire beer scene punches above its weight, and Campbell Street does its part.
