Bennethead Banks

The walk up Bennethead Banks rewards you with proper fell views across the Ullswater valley - it's one of those Lake District peaks that doesn't require mountaineering skills but gives you the sense of having earned the vista. The summit isn't dramatic, but on a clear day you get east-facing prospects toward the higher fells and down to the water itself, which makes the effort worthwhile.
