Ashton Gardens is a proper nature reserve just outside Blackpool, the sort of place that rewards a quiet morning walk far more than a quick visit. You're looking at woodland paths, open grassland, and the kind of bird life that keeps ornithologists and casual twitchers equally satisfied.
