All Saints sits in Llangadog, a small village in the Carmarthenshire countryside where the Towy Valley opens up and the hills roll green in every direction. It's a working parish church, so you'll need to check locally whether it's open when you visit - the village itself is tiny enough that the pub or a nearby caravan park can usually point you in the right direction.

Inside, it's properly atmospheric in the way old Welsh churches are: stone walls, worn flagstones, the smell of damp and time. The building has medieval roots, though like most parish churches it's been patched and altered over centuries. There's nothing flashy about it, which is rather the point. If you're into ecclesiastical architecture or local history, it rewards a proper look. For others, a quick visit while passing through Llangadog makes sense, but don't plan your day around it.

The real appeal comes from timing it alongside the caravan parks scattered nearby - Cosmos Camping is barely a ten-minute walk away, with Llandyfan and Gelli Glamping within striking distance for evening strolls. This corner of Carmarthenshire works well for a few days of gentle walking country rather than destination tourism. Visit the church when you're exploring the village, not the other way round. It's free to look around and takes fifteen minutes if you're thorough. The Towy Valley itself - the proper draw - opens up wonderfully from the churchyard.
