The churchyard sits quiet on the edge of North Kelsey, a proper rural corner of Lincolnshire that doesn't shout about itself. All Hallows Church is one of those medieval buildings that rewards a slow walk around - stone walls that have stood since the 12th century, a tower that's genuinely worth craning your neck for, and the kind of peace you only get in villages where nothing much happens quickly.

Inside, there's decent medieval craftsmanship if you're into that sort of thing - carved details, old glass where it's survived. The village is close enough that you could base yourself at Station Farm Caravan and Camping Site - just 2.5 miles away - and work it into a morning's exploration before heading elsewhere. North Gulham Glamping sits nearby too if you fancy something with more comfort. Honestly, it's the sort of place that costs nothing but reveals plenty if you're paying attention.
