You get direct access to Swansea Beach, which stretches pleasantly enough along the bay with decent sand when the tide's out.

Walkers will appreciate the easy access and the chance to extend a stroll along the seafront towards the marina. Families with younger kids will find it convenient for a casual beach visit without the fuss of searching for a quieter cove. There's nothing fancy here - no facilities to speak of that we could identify - but that's not necessarily a drawback. It's the sort of place you visit as part of a broader wander rather than for an hour-long sit-down.

Swansea Marina Tourer Park is virtually on your doorstep at 0.2 miles, and SWDA Riverside, the top-rated option, is just 4.4 miles away. From either base, the Meeting Point offers quick beach access without a car journey. Time-wise, allow twenty minutes to half an hour for a proper walk and a paddle. It's best visited on a settled day - Swansea's coast can be proper blustery when the wind picks up.
