Sandilands Holiday Park

If you are visiting the area for the Cranfield Alpacas, do yourself a favor and stay at Sandilands. It’s practically right next door and offers a level of peace you just don't find at the bigger, noisier resorts. The absolute highlight for us was the exclusive beach access. Very clean and tidy camping area. Staff were excellent m. Right on the beach. No shops/ pubs with walking distance, but that was ok, quiet and peaceful.

Camping in a well maintained camping site. Showers and toilets were immaculate. The kids had fun at the park and played football so much we hardly saw them. Well worth a trip if you want to go camping. 7 minutes from Carlingford ⛴️

We stayed here in 2023 and used it to explore attractions in te North. The site is spotless, prices were decent and it has a beautiful beach. Credit has to go to the site for probably having the best toilet /shower facilities for a caravan site in UK and Ireland. It was like a 4 star hotel. The staff were incredible. We had gone out to Belfast and were stuck in traffic when a major storm came in...

Fantastic place. I recently brought my caravan here with my daughter and nephew. We had a brilliant. The people working here are really friendly and helpful. The toilet/shower facilities are spotless and brand new, the park is a few mins walking distance to the beach and theres a huge playground in the middle, what more would you want!? Cant wait to go back again.
