Red Lion Inn Camping & Caravan Park

We went here fishing and camping and was greeted with a friendly face with a man called Shane!! And the site was very clean as was the toilets and the showers I would definitely recommend my family and friends to go here as it’s such beautiful place to visit and people was very friendly to talk to outside the pub

It's OK for a night en route south west.. toilets and showers are seriously dated and not the cleanest.. pretty sure there's the same mucky bits from last time I was there 10yrs ago. And theyre so far away from the field

Campsite was tired looking and needs a good modernisation.shower and toilet block have seen much better days as only 1 toilet in use and 3 showers in use.shower block smelt mouldy. Pub next door serves food ,we had meal and it was disgusting. Not worth eating there as only serve greasy food.

Great campsite facilities basic but functional, dog friendly but,the grass was a bit long and needed a cut. The prices for staying are very reasonable and a good weekend getaway. The camp site is next door to the Red lion pub which has an excellent range of local beers and good food from local suppliers. The pub has plenty of seating outside overlooking the river nothing better on a sunny day .

I really enjoyed my stay here. It was spacious and tidy. The shower need a good refurbishment as it's very old and warn down. It's still OK if on a budget and good for families. There's a small playground with a few play swings and slides
