Parkdean Resorts Whitley Bay Holiday Park, Tyne & Wear

Caravan was spotlessly clean, well equipped, warm and cosy. TV, free WiFi. All staff very helpful, no problem too small. BUT the road at the side of the site is used as a race-track by local boy - racers, both cars and motorbikes roaring past every evening 😖 This is nothing to do with Parkdean and out of their control, but sadly it does impact on enjoyment of the caravan. Caravan was lovely and clean and found all the staff we encountered to be friendly. Our van was close to the perimeter fence adjacent to the road which we could hear quite clearly, especially motorbikes through the evening. Our only criticism would be that we treated ourselves to a breakfast in the restaurant on our last morning but it was barely warm. We did tell the staff who were apologetic and...

I guess the whole experience depends on your caravan but the crew are all lovely from the entertainment to the bar staff. Beautiful location. Bus right outside the entrance and runs every 15 minutes. The park itself is incredibly clean and has a decent outside park for kids. Swimming is free!

Got such great great memories of this place growing up! Been going here for 37 years and Although so much has changed and it had so much more in years gone by it is still a lovely place to visit. It is very very close to my heart! When I first used to go there it was called feathers and it had an on-site bar called the lighthouse club and it also had a big evening entertainment club called the gal...

This was our first time using Park Dean and we have had a lovely time. The park is very clean and the staff are really friendly. The caravan was nice and clean and had most stuff needed for basic cooking etc. My 4 year old especially loved the caravan and the location is perfect for our needs. So close to many nearby attractions and of course Whitley Bay beach. Will be back!
