We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this campsite. It was so peaceful and well maintained- just what we needed for a break. The pitches were spacious and private, with a great system for purchasing electric if needed. The toilet and shower block were immaculate, and I loved the extra security of the coded gate. Great location for exploring the local area, we’ll definitely be returning.

Electric gate entrance with passcode ensuring good site security. Great shower / toilet block. Showers nice, hot and powerful. Very clean. Pot washing area is undercover. Good size pitches plenty of space. One minor niggle is that the hedge at the entryway could do with trimming back as seeing down the road to pull out is restrictive and it’s quite a fast road. Lovely campsite, very well maintained. Having to pay for electricity on top of the price of the pitch is a bit steep. The only gripe and I appreciate it’s clearly stated on the T&C’s about check in times but we turned up at 13:15 for a 14:00 check in and were turned away and told to come back. Lovely campsite with good size pitches and electric hook up for tents if needed. Showers and washing area are fantastic, look to have been recently refurbished, clean with nice hot showers. The lady that runs the site is fab. She came over to make sure everything was okay with our stay and watched her do the same with every person there, really nice. Location is brilliant.
