We visited this weekend (20th-22nd June 2025) and were really pleased with the site. Perfectly situated for visiting all local areas of the Essex coast by bus, the stop is directly outside the park entrance, or by train which is about a 20 minute walk to the station. Stayed on camping pitch near the lake. Beautiful site. Well looked after. Great facilities. I wouldn't want pitch 10 again as under trees and a bit too well shaded but it was a great place. Nice pub 5 mins away too.

Lovely touring park. Peaceful but things to do and look at. It's a fishing lake but even if you're not fishing there's bird life etc and it's a beautiful view. Toilet and shower block on site - cafe serving a good selection, caravan shop and sales ...it's literally got everything ! We will be back - oh and dog friendly ๐Ÿ˜

It's near enough to Clacton that we could easily go to the seas...
