I stayed for the weekend from 3rd - 6th October . The site itself is great . The club house although very expensive was great . My issue is the cleanliness of the caravan in which we stayed . A return visit but will definitely be our last. The caravan was not in the cleanest of conditions, all around the shower door was filthy & stained, the shower hose was covered in black & limescale, light switches all marked and stains on the wall that could have easily been wiped off. Lovely area with lovely spacious caravans. The negative side is that there are probably twice as many caravans crammed in than their should be and majority without parking outside. Caravan was clean other than the utensils, plates, pans, cutlery, draining board etc which were absolutely filthy. TV on the small side but we managed by sitting on the floor closer to it. The park is nice and club house is nice. The staff were all very welcoming and fun and made it fun. HOWEVER.... the prices of drinks were absolutely ridiculous. £4.80 for a pint of coke We went 2 adults 4 children and each round of drinks was £36.60. If you have 3 or 4 drinks in an evening looking at over 100 JUST on drinks and that nothing else of the entertainment. So about £400 on drinks for 4 ...
