Very pleasant well laid out site, intriguing layout and usual very warm welcome from CMHC staff thank you. Train horn a very slight distraction but quite fun too!

Lovely peaceful woodland site, well looked after by friendly staff. Good clean facilities and eco toilets appropriate for the location. Fantastic wildlife. Deer wander around the site unperterbed by the presence of people. The railway line runs along one side of the site but it's easy to get a pitch well away if you'd rather. Lots to see and do in the area. Will return.

Depending on where you are pitched there can be a fair trudge from toilets to showers. Showers for the disabled located in the toilet area. No lighting at night so bring a torch! Staff are pleasant, hardworking and helpful. Downsides? Poor ...
