Great caravan and camping location. Service is amazing. Forgot our electric hook up, they have spares. We hired a fire pit £5 per night. You can buy a big bag of logs for £10. The toilets and showers were clean. Always well stocked with toilet roll. Great kitchen facility with 2 sinks. Kettle, microwave and fridge freezer. Great little campsite. We came for the bank holiday weekend and had a lovely time with the kids. The only thing I didn't like was the shower doors. I would prefer a full length door with a lock rather than the toilet style door and shower curtain. Other than that, the amenities were clean and tidy and we had a lovely stay.

It served our group.of 5 families ok I guess. We were met by Martin, a real character, who was so friendly and helpful, can't fault him. The facilities are very basic, tired and date..be warned. There's a sign I'm the toilets that states they are first checked & cleaned at 8am every day. This place is really good for a quiet getaway, especially if you don’t want to go rural camping it’s got lovely toilets and shower for where its located (there’s not much to do if you don’t have a car as it is out the way so if you’re coming with a dog and want some long walks this is the place for you). We just got home from our annual camping trip. Boat lane is great quiet and peaceful. We arrived and the site was busy but we were offered a choice where to pitch which was great as we have a dog that can lunge so we were nervous for a pre set pitch .
