Yeo Valley Community Woodland is the sort of place locals have quietly known about for years while visitors zoom past to the beaches. It's a working space - part nature reserve, part community project - where the trees actually matter to someone, not just a backdrop for a photo.

The woodland itself is mixed woodland, which means you're walking through proper Devon greenery rather than conifer plantations. Paths wind through without feeling manicured or fenced-off.
