You're not wrestling for a beer or dodging crowds. It's intimate, which some will find brilliant and others might find a bit too quiet.

Practically speaking, access depends on fixtures - you can't just wander in whenever you fancy. Check what's on before you go. During match days there's parking and a decent atmosphere. For a camping holiday based at one of the nearby sites - Home Farm or Bella Vista are both within a couple of miles - Wormsley works well as a gentle afternoon out rather than a full day's activity.
