There's a dog treat shop in Elland that's become rather beloved by locals and passing dog owners alike. Woofy Treats is exactly what it says on the tin - a spot dedicated entirely to spoiling your canine companion with biscuits, chews, and other bits that'll have them quivering with excitement.

The shop stocks everything from natural dog biscuits to long-lasting chews and toys, all the sort of thing you'd struggle to find in a standard supermarket. It's the kind of place where staff actually know their stuff about what dogs need, rather than just flogging whatever's cheapest. If you've got fussy eaters or dogs with sensitivities, they're worth consulting.

Obviously this is brilliant if you're touring with a dog - and if you're camping at either Hebden Bridge Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite or Old Chamber Camping, both within a few miles, you'll appreciate having somewhere that treats your dog as an actual priority. Three miles from Hebden Bridge site, less than five from Old Chamber, it's an easy detour.

Realistically, you're looking at 20 minutes maximum if you know what you want, maybe longer if you want to browse or chat with the owner about your dog's dietary requirements. Free to browse, obviously, though you'll be buying something if your dog's got any personality at all. Worth a quick stop if you're passing through Elland anyway, especially if you're the type who gets as excited about their dog's wellbeing as they do their own meals.
