Woodhall Wood

The woodland that spreads across the landscape just outside Woodbridge is proper Suffolk - ancient oak and birch mixed with newer plantings, the kind of place where you can actually breathe without hearing traffic. Close enough to Woodbridge town for a morning visit between other plans, and well-positioned for the caravanning crowd at Run Cottage or Woodbridge Glamping if you're staying locally. It won't blow your mind, but it's exactly what it promises - a genuine slice of Suffolk woodland without the marketing.
