Windmill Tump

Standing at 112 metres above the Severn Vale, this modest hill offers surprisingly expansive views across three counties on a clear day. The summit provides a proper vantage point over the Cotswolds to the east and the Welsh hills to the west, with Tewkesbury's abbey tower clearly visible below.

Walkers will appreciate the straightforward climb - it's steep enough to get the heart pumping but won't leave you gasping for breath. The footpaths are well-maintained, though muddy after rain, and the ascent takes about twenty minutes from the nearest parking spot.

Families with older children will find this a manageable expedition, though toddlers might struggle with the gradient. Dog walkers love it here - plenty of space to roam and good visibility to keep an eye on wandering pets.
