Weathercock Hill

The walk up Weathercock Hill rewards you with one of Lancashire's finest panoramas - on a clear day you can see all the way across to the Welsh hills. It's not a mountain by Alpine standards, but the climb from Skelmersdale is proper steep in places and leaves you genuinely breathless at the top.
