Mount Farm Park, further out at 3.4 miles, makes it part of a broader walking itinerary across the area. The ground itself appears to be free to access - it's common land - though you'll want to check locally before you go. Best visited in autumn or early summer when the grass isn't waterlogged and the visibility is decent. Not remarkable, but useful.
