Stay nearby at The Pig Place or Glamping Thorpe - both within four miles - and use Tumulus as part of a proper countryside ramble rather than a standalone destination. It works brilliantly as a gentle walk from one of the glamping sites, especially if you're already exploring the broader Northamptonshire landscape. Don't expect crowds or facilities. Do expect a genuine moment of connection with something genuinely old.
