Traeth y Cribach

Dog walkers have struck gold here too, with miles of empty sand when the tide's out.

Getting down requires a bit of a walk and some careful footing, so it's not one for pushchairs or anyone with mobility issues. The reward though is having a slice of the Welsh coast largely to yourself, even in summer. Pack a proper picnic and make a day of it - there's nothing in the way of facilities.
