Tom-Na-Kessaig (Hill of St Kessog)

The walk up Tom-Na-Kessaig near Callander is straightforward enough - a steady climb through woodland that takes about an hour to the summit, depending on your pace. Once you're up there, the views across the Stirling area are genuinely impressive, especially on a clear day when you can see right out over the valley. It's the sort of hill that rewards the effort without asking too much of your legs.

This one's best for walkers who want something achievable but with proper views at the end. Kids will manage it fine, though the younger ones might need some cajoling on the way up.
