The Bone Mill

The Bone Mill sits quietly on the outskirts of King's Lynn, a genuinely odd piece of industrial heritage that most visitors to Norfolk completely walk past without noticing. Built in the 19th century, this former mill processed animal bones into fertiliser and gelatin - the sort of unglamorous work that kept Victorian agriculture running. What remains is a sturdy brick structure that speaks volumes about how differently people once lived and worked.

The walk from the resort is manageable and takes you through some proper Norfolk countryside.
