Dunkeld itself is worth a wander after. The riverside walk is genuinely pleasant, and there's a decent coffee spot or two. The gallery opens daily 11 to 5, so you can fit it around other Perthshire plans without rearranging everything. It's not the sort of place that'll eat a full afternoon, but that's rather the point - sometimes a good gallery is best kept short and sweet.
