Stob Garbh

The walk up Stob Garbh is honest work. This peak sits in the heart of Argyll, near Taynuilt, and it's the sort of hill that rewards you properly without requiring technical climbing or a dawn start. From the base, the ascent is steep enough to get your heart going but not so brutal that you'll be cursing by the halfway point.

The views across Loch Awe make the effort worthwhile. On a clear day you can see proper distance across the water and into the surrounding glens.
