St. Leodegar’s Church Wyberton

The tower of St. Leodegar's rises above the flat Lincolnshire fenlands like a brick sentinel, visible for miles across the marshland. This 14th-century church sits in the small village of Wyberton, just outside Boston, and it's genuinely worth a detour if you're staying at one of the nearby holiday parks.

Walking in, you're struck by the soaring perpendicular architecture - all those pointed arches and intricate stonework that makes late medieval churches sing.
