It's the kind of place where you pop in for twenty minutes, light a candle if you're that way inclined, and get a genuine sense of what mattered to people here 500 years ago.

Historically-minded visitors will find it worth a stop, particularly if you're already exploring Thirsk's town centre. It's free to wander in, which is always a bonus.
