Abergele's the nearest proper town if you need facilities, though the priory's accessible any time from the outside. No fees that I'm aware of, no formal opening hours to check - it's one of those places you visit when you pass through. Worth the detour if you're already in the neighbourhood, but probably not worth driving out specially unless medieval ruins are genuinely your thing.
