St Anne's isn't ancient - it dates from the 1840s - but there's something genuinely good about its architecture and the interior light that pours through its windows on a clear day.

Inside, you'll find proper Victorian craftsmanship: decent stonework, decent windows, the kind of thing that was standard when they built churches with actual care. The space itself is quite peaceful, which matters. If you're staying at Buxton Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite just down the road, it's a perfectly pleasant twenty-minute walk into town, and St Anne's sits conveniently on the route without feeling like a detour.

Historically minded visitors will appreciate the Victorian detail, but this isn't a major draw on its own. What makes it worth knowing about is that it slots nicely into a wider walking route if you're exploring Buxton itself - the town has decent Georgian architecture and the Devonshire Dome worth seeing. If you're based at Peak Glamping Hideaway or Longnor Wood Holiday Park further out, it's less essential to your plans unless church architecture genuinely interests you.
