Scale Ivy

Standing at 569 metres above sea level, this fell offers one of the finest viewpoints over Lake Windermere without the crowds that swarm the more famous peaks. The climb from the Blackwell area takes around two hours, following well-marked paths through mixed woodland before emerging onto open fellside.

The summit rewards you with sweeping views across Windermere to the Coniston fells beyond, while Blackwell Arts and Crafts House sits like a miniature mansion far below.
