Swaffham itself is a working market town, so you won't feel you're visiting some frozen-in-time village museum. Park up near the town centre and walk it in five minutes. Free admission as far as we could gather, though these places always appreciate a donation for upkeep.

If you're based at Breckland Meadows just down the road, this is the sort of quick cultural fix that breaks up a caravan holiday nicely - combine it with a wander round Swaffham's market square or the countryside beyond. Norfolk Woods Resort, being further out, makes it a bit more of an outing, but nothing that troubles a decent road trip. Late morning visits tend quieter than afternoons.
