The interior is properly light and open, with that particular smell of old stone and polish that you either find comforting or slightly stuffy depending on your mood. The chancel is the real draw if you're into church architecture; it's got some decent medieval work if you know what you're looking at.

This isn't a destination in itself, to be frank. You'll spend twenty minutes inside if you're keen, ten if you're not. It works well if you're already in Driffield town centre - you can tick it off while grabbing a coffee or poking around the local shops. The building's interesting enough for anyone with a passing interest in medieval England, but families with restless kids will find it a bit of a slog.

The real value is as part of a broader wander around the market town. It's free to enter, which is always welcome. If you're staying at Skipsea Sands Holiday Park just down the road, it makes sense as a wet-weather option or a quick cultural break from beach time. The coast's close enough that you could easily combine a morning at the seaside with an afternoon in Driffield proper. Worth the detour if you're already in the area, not worth planning your trip around.
